Alecia -- I've honestly never understood the idea of a gambling addiction either. I'm from Wisconsin, so the legal age to gamble at a casino is 21, instead of 18 in Minnesota), so I legally haven't been able to gamble for very long anyways. I just have never had the desire to spend my hard earned money, given that at my age I really don't make that much. The only time I ever participate in gambling is when the Powerball gets really high .. because you can't win if you don't try, right?! I know my chances are low because the higher pot, the more people that are playing and have a chance to win. But maybe that's the mentality when gambling addicts play, you can't win if you don't try!
